About our club

Monarchs to the Rescue is an after school club for kindergartners and first graders.  Our mission is to find homes for animals in the Homeless Pets Foundation shelter and to educate club members about animal issues.  Our club will be sponsoring a pet that is currently up for adoption at the Homeless Pets Foundation shelter until it is adopted.  The children will be given fliers to pass out and post.  We hope to have a new sponsor pet each month.  The more pets that are adopted, the more pets we can save!

There are four teacher sponsors to the club:  Heather Simon, Tricia Wehr, Dawn Hightower, and Erin Tompkins.  Meetings will be held on the first Friday of every month through the end of the school year.  Dues for the club are $5, which will go toward our club mission and goals.  Monarchs to the Rescue will have their very own t-shirt that the children can wear to club meetings.  T-shirts are $9.50 per shirt and money is due on Friday, February 21st.  See below for the t-shirt logo.
